Mo Mo is an unusual and eccentric college junior called by the nick name Jun Chi. He meets Mal Ja at a singing contest and falls for her quickly but she is already engaged. He competes with Mal Ja's boyfriend but realizes that he is no match for him and voluntarily parts with her. He goes on a journey. Watching sunrise on Seorak mountain, he comes up with an idea for a new song and compose music to Mal Ja's lyric. He takes the song to the contest and moves Mal Ja. She watches him on TV feeling his affection, then she leaves abroad with her fiance'e.
