Wandering through life with no real goals, Yoshihara Akito is barely managing to drag himself through the drudgery of his daily life. Doing his best to move away from a past that has left him terribly scarred, Akito wants to forget the years that have long haunted him. But no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t seem to shake the memories that continually haunt him. Things for Akito only get worse when fate brings Ishikawa Eriko back into his life. Having once harboured a deep high school crush on Eriko, the sight of her suddenly drags Akito back to the days he’d most like to forget. The subjects of vicious slander and baseless lies, both Akito and Eriko were tormented endlessly in high school. Unable to do anything but drag themselves through each miserable day, both of them have spent every day since trying desperately to forget those days of endless suffering.
