Botan is a young chinese woman who lives in Thailand. She started to make a living by growing and selling vegetables. She fell in love with Jakkrit, the son of Madam Kularb, who's the landowner. But Madam dislikes that Botan is poor and prepared another woman to be her daughter-in-law. Botan and Jakkrit got together against his mother's wishes, but he's forced to go study abroad, not knowing that Botan is pregnant. After she gives birth, Madam Kularb badmouths Botan claiming that she had an affair. Botan is tricked into being sold to a brothel. How will the story of her life end?
