Yuko (Mayuko Kawakita) is a promising high diver. She suddenly decides to quit the sport. Her boyfriend Satoru (Tetsuya Makita) proposes to her, but Yuko still can't feel happiness. She constantly feels unease.
Yuko then gets counseling help from Hibikisho (Tengai Kuramoto). Through the sessions, she learns that she experienced a traumatic incident eight years earlier. The incident involved her step-brother Shunsuke (Masahiro Inoue) killing her stepfather. Yuko can't remember anything about the incident. She goes to meet her step-brother when he is released from the youth detention center.
