As children, Huai Yu, Zhi Gao, and Dan Dan vowed to be as close as blood siblings and had their fortunes told by a mysterious old eunuch using divination sticks. Unfortunately, the sticks they drew were accidentally knocked over and mixed up by the eunuch's cat before they could be read. One stick said "to die would be better than to have been born", another said "to have lived would have been better than to have died", and the third said "die and then be reborn." What could this all mean?
