Taniguchi Takao, transferred from Aoba Gakuin, a prestigious baseball school, to Sumiya Daini Middle School. After joining the baseball club, he was appointed captain because he was a member of a prestigious baseball club, however, in his previous school, he was assigned just picked up balls and failed badly in his first game. He starts a secret training program to win the regional preliminary round.
