While working as a server at a banquet, Kam witnesses ballroom instructor Namson Lau pull Tina in to a dance. Enchanted by their moves, Kam falls in love with the art of dance and scrapes up enough money to learn at Namson's studio. She works hard in hopes of one day being able to dance with Namson. However, she is put into a group class to make way for Tina. Namson teaches Tina in exchange for large amounts of money paid by Tina's brother. Blinded by his dream of buying his dream dance studio and participating in the Blackpool Dance Festival in England, Namson focuses on money ignoring and forgetting the significance of dance. Kam's enthusiastic attitude and passion for dance helps Namson realize he has lost his way.
