The film is adapted from the suspense writer Zhou Hao Hui's novel "Girl in the Dark". Li Xiao Qiong accompanies her boyfriend Guo Jun, into a secluded small building. She founds there, a mysterious little girl, hidden behind the window in one of the rooms. But neighbors denied the existence of the girl, and they didn't hear of anyone, living in the building with the child.
