Friends Bin and Shuichi begin living together after one rents his room out to a pretty face. Both boys fall for the young lady, but continue their university days happily nonetheless. When they find she enjoys skiing, the two decide to follow the school skiing club on their trip...so that one or the other might tempt her affections. A completely silent film, and the oldest surviving piece by famous director Ozu Yasujiro.
