Neglected and unloved, Sonny Corpus is a 16-year-old orphan raised by poor relatives in the slums of Manila. One night, Sonny was put under pressure to join his friends Celso, Jimmy and Rodel to hang out, little did he know that his friends were planning to rob an old lady's house. During the heist, Celso accidentally fires a gun killing the old lady. Sonny was arrested and wrongfully convicted of murder. Unable to provide pieces of evidence for his age and innocence, he was sent to the death row.
