Min Seo, an illegitimate son of Sir Lee Jee Yeon, is well-known play boy in town. One day he saw a pretty girl called Da Ryeon and followed her. He finds that she is Catholic which was forbidden those days. Da Ryeon is taken to the police bureau after revealed that she is Catholic. Min Seo helped badly tortured Da Ryeon to escape from jail, but they are arrested again. While Yeo Sang, who is a Catholic and fond of Da Ryeon, gives a notice where the Christians would meet to save her. But he can't help her and the Catholics commit suicide in danger of a massacre. Min Seo and Da Ryeon simply accept coming death and they die calling each other in happiness.
