While driving with his girlfriend, Yoshiki is involved in an accident in which he sustains a serious injury. When he regains consciousness, he has no memory of the accident or his girlfriend. His memory loss leads to severe depression which doctors offer to treat with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). However, the treatment causes him to have visions of his dead girlfriend and their interactions cause him to fall more deeply in love with her. Eventually, his recovery leads to an unexpected revelation...
