One day, Tomonaga Takashi, a medical representative of pharmaceutical company Tenei Seiyaku, is suddenly suspected of molest inside a train by male and female strangers. He has an important appointment and tries to get away. However, Nitta Masato, who rushed over from the police box in front of the train station where he had been on duty, arrests Tomonaga as he fights back. This is Nitta’s first achievement as a new police officer. Tomonaga is taken to the police precinct where he insists on his innocence the whole time. But no one listens to him. The case is sent to the prosecutors and he is charged despite denying the allegation. On a later date, Nitta sees the female university student who was molested, together with the male eyewitness at a bar. The two of them seem to have been acquainted more than six months ago. Nitta begins to have misgivings about whether she was really molested. He is admonished by a senior police officer who tells him that the court will decide if Tomonaga is guilty or innocent but he cannot let go of his suspicion. So he seeks the help of a wily lawyer Gomi Jinsuke whom the police treat like an enemy, and starts to get to the bottom of the matter. Who framed Tomonaga? And what was the objective? The three men are dragged into the darkness of a case deeper than they expected and this will force Niita to choose whether to continue being a police officer …
