In order to realize her dream of studying abroad, Jae Yi agrees to marry Kang Kuk, the son of Chairman Sohn of a conglomerate group. Jang Tae Ho, who actively advocated the marriage, feels passion for Jae Yi so he rapes her at a farewell party. When she arrives in America, Jae Yi discovers her husband is impotent and that the marriage is a sham. However, Jae Yi is pregnant with Tae Ho's baby. She accepts this as her fate. Jae Yi gets treatment for Kang Kuk and gives birth to Ho Ma. Chairman Sohn tries to get rid of Jae Yi by contracting gangsters in the United States. Jae Yi decides to have her revenge on Chairman Sohn and Tae Ho and returns to Korea.
