Seo Seung Cheol is a second generation Korean-American, the son of a world-renowned electronic company owner, who is looking for a traditional Korean wife just like his mother. He comes to Korea in search of the perfect bride but is soon disappointed by the women he meets. He runs into Yoon Soo Jin who works at a carwash but is put off by her rough behavior. Seung Cheol works odd jobs and searches for the girl of his dreams. One day, he visits a campus festival and sees that the girl performing the elegant Crane Dance is Soo Jin. He is thrilled to learn that Soo Jin is talented at the art of dance as well as oriental painting and is also a great homemaker.
