Ahn Hyun Sang works at Samho Corporation and is engaged to Jang Yeon Hee. But Yeon Hee betrays him and marries the son of the chairman of Samho, Ki Dae Wun. Hyun Sang's sister dies when Dae Wun's car runs her over. When Dae Wun fails to get a bank loan, the company is thrown into dire circumstances and although he needs Jung Yang Suk's help, he suffers from the past when he seized her father's fortune. The animosity both by Yang Suk who is in love with Hyun Sang and Hyun Sang drives Samho to bankruptcy. But Hyun Sang tells Yeon Hee that he loved her and Yang Suk tastes the bitter sweetness of revenge and goes out of the country.
