Baek Yeong Gyu is a penniless would-be singer. He meets Min Seol Hi who works at the pawnshop. With her help, he records his song but he has no money to produce or distribute his record. Seol Hi meets Park Kyung Bin, a businessman, and manages to raise money for Yeong Gyu. Because of this, she leaves Yeong Gyu. But Kyung Bin is revealed to be a smuggler and is arrested. Seol Hi's life takes a downward turn. Yeong Gyu, now a star, tries to find her after he hears of her fate.
