Lee Soo Hyun and Kim In Sun are a couple in their seventies who have spent half of their lives together. They moved to Germany when they were younger and worked as nurses before they fell in love with each other at a summer camp run by the Female Believers’ Association in Germany in 1986. In-sun was married back then but left her family to live with Soo Hyun. They’ve been life-companions to each other ever since. The film deals with their personal lives and social activities in a balance by showing their daily life actively participating in queer festivals and community events. It is filled with vigorous moments of these two witty women. There are hard times when they find themselves being the victims of social prejudices or suffering from health issues, but they can live with them as long as they are together. In this documentary, their story is told in a quiet manner, but one can’t help but feel touched in the end. (Source: BIFF) ~~ Co-production with Germany.Edit Translation
