Takagi Mamoru, Kaoru and Tomoki have been living each day in peace. The twins are now in fourth grade in elementary school students and turn 10 years old this year. As they approach the halfway mark to becoming adults, they have to compose stories about themselves in school. They are to look back over the past 10 years since they were born and write about their family, friends, various memories as well as their dreams for the future. It is a complicated subject for the two of them. They immediately go and ask their mother Aoki Ayumi about the time of their birth. Meanwhile, Kaoru gives serious thought to her dream for the future. It is to be an idol who sings and dances. She consults Mamoru about this. Perhaps in answer to Kaoru’s longing to be an idol, she is scouted by an entertainment production company for the role of a child actress by chance. Tomoki is currently engrossed in his favourite “bug”. His waking and sleeping moments are all about the “bug”. However, Tomoki has a secret which he cannot tell anyone. He confides in Mamoru. On the other hand, a proposal for a new product is underway at Akebono Stationery, Mamoru’s employer. One day, he starts to seriously worry as a result of a casual remark made by Ayumi. She feels that it is about time the twins come back to her for the sake of their future.
