The young man and woman, who loved each other in North Korea, are separated while coming down to South during the Korean War (1950-1953). While they look for each other, the man becomes a reporter and the woman a pickpocket. They meet unexpectedly, but she cannot dare to talk about her situation. Although she tries to run away from the den of pickpockets, the bandit captain does not allow it. One day, chased by the bandit captain, she is run over by a car and finishes her miserable life.
