Kiho, daughter of a president of a large company, is in a serious relationship with an elite lawyer, Ryuichi. Their wedding is suddenly interrupted when officers march in to arrest Ryuichi on a charge of murder. Police suspect that he had an affair with a lady who lived in the old town, and then killed her when things got inconvenient for him. Ryuichi denies any wrongdoing. Kiho moves to the old town and starts an investigation to prove his innocence.
