Taiga Kusunoki (Jun Matsumoto) is a less than popular, tsundere, second-generation actor. Although he is the son of the famous and popular actor Kotaro Kusunoki (Shiro Ito) his career is far below the level of his father's. Taiga develops an inferiority complex due to the huge difference between his image and his father's popularity to the point that his management company struggles to find work for him. Due to his lack of roles, he spends his days with Keita Ueno (Hideyuki Kasahara), a fellow second-generation actor with a similar plight as Taiga. As fate goes, the two friends go sky diving one day and Taiga loses control of his paracute, landing himself in a tree several miles away from his destination point. Shiori (Takeuchi Yuko), a beautiful cheerful woman, rescues him. Laughing away all her worries, Shiori is the exact opposite of Taiga and a huge fan of his famous father.
