41-year-old section manager Danta Ichiro hears a new hired Miyamoto Minami, whom he secretly likes, remark that she prefers dandies. Resolving to become one, he reads every male fashion magazine he can lay his hands on. He is struggling hard with a rather questionable course in dandyism when he discovers ‘Madam M’, an intriguing shop which deals in the whole range of articles for gentlemen. The mysterious female shop owner Miyuki kindly teaches him about the history of the merchandise, her extensive knowledge and the latest popular lineup. Danta instinctively fantasises himself garbed in these items on a date with Minami, and then proceeds to make a purchase. However, he does not know that Minami has a secret.
