Blackie Ko was a famous Taiwanese film director, producer, stuntman and actor. Blackie was considered as the greatest automotive stunt choreographer in Asia.

In 1956, he moved to Taiwan with his family during the liberation of Mao Zedong's early communist reformations. He is the father of actor and singer Alan Ko.

On December 9, 2003, Ko died in a car accident, he was 50 years old.
