Elijah Canlas is a Filipino actor, rapper, and singer, born in Manila, Philippines, and raised in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. His brothers, Jerom Canlas and JM Canlas, are also actors. He was studying theatre arts at the Philippine High School for the Arts (PHSA) when he did his first film "Sundalong Kanin" (2014). After completing junior high school at PHSA, he finished senior high school at MINT College. He is currently taking a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philippine Arts at the University of the Philippines Manila.
For the movie "Sundalong Kanin," he won Most Promising Independent Film Actor together with the other lead actors of the film at the Inding-Indie Film Festival (2015) in Metro Manila, Philippines. He won Best Supporting Actor (PinakaPASADOng Katuwang na Aktor) for the movie "Edward" (2019) from the Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO) (2020).
