Luo Yun Xi, born Luo Yi, also known by his English name Leo Luo, is a Chinese actor and singer. He graduated from the Shanghai Theater Academy, majoring in ballet. After graduation, Luo worked as a dance instructor at Macau Conservatory, where he was also one of the lead dancers in the stage production of the contemporary ballet “Flying to the Moon”.
Luo made his music debut in 2010 with the boy band JBOY3, which went on to release 3 singles. After JBOY3 disband in 2012, Leo became part of the Chinese music duo Double JL with Chinese actor and singer Jason Fu.
Luo made his acting debut in 2012 when he was cast in the romance film “The Spring of My Life” opposite Tan Songyun. In 2013, he was cast in his first drama “Flip in Summer”, which aired in 2018.
In 2015, Luo became known for his role as the younger counterpart of the male protagonist He Yi Chen in the hit romance drama “My Sunshine”.
Luo also played the lead role in the medical drama “Children's Hospital Pediatrician”, which was nominated and went on to earn him the award in the “influential Actor” category.
Luo achieved a breakthrough with the fantasy romance drama “Ashes of Love” as Runyu, where his role as an ambiguous antagonist received critical acclaim and predominantly positive reviews.
After his success with “Ashes of Love”, Luo has added two additional dramas to his growing list of credits: a wuxia romance drama “And The Winner Is Love” alongside Chen Yuqi, where he also sung the soundtrack of the drama, titled "Fate Begins" and the modern-day office romance drama “Love is Sweet” with Bai Lu.
Between 2003-2020 in his career in both dance and acting, Leo Luo has added several nominations and awards to his name.
