The fourth generation Ichikawa Ennosuke is Kinoshi Takahiko. He was born in Tokyo, Japan, as the eldest son of Ichikawa Danshiro IV. His uncle is the famous Ichikawa Ennosuke III, father of the actor Kagawa Teruyuki. He graduated from Keio University in 1998 with specialization in Japanese literature.
Kinoshi made his debut on Kabuki stage with the title Ichikawa Kamejiro II in 1983. He succeeded the title of Ichikawa Ennosuke from his uncle in 2012 upon his retirement.
