Abe Maria is a Japanese idol singer. She is part of AKB48's Team K. Originally a 10th generation Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team 4 on July 23, 2011. She was a member of Team 4 until the team shuffle at the 2012 Tokyo Dome concert, where she was transferred to Team K.
Her name is a pun on the Ave Maria prayer; both are read "abe maria" in Japanese.
