Midori is a realistic person that doesn't believe in true love. Love is something that should be looked upon as a balance between two people. For her, her boyfriend is the perfect partner. Average enough in the right way. That's why when he proposes she is ready to get married and live a trouble free life. However one day she spots her fiancÃ© together with a woman at the love-hotel across from her apartment. While she's troubled about how to react to this situation her twin sister Aoi suddenly shows up claiming to have followed the love of her life to Tokyo and now wants to stay at Midori's. While still in a haze she agrees to letting Aoi stay if she finds herself a job and pays her part of the living fees. Aoi's delighted and quickly runs to the love hotel across the street and gets herself a part time job there. Midori however finds herself at a nearby park getting cheered up by a mime who she afterwards have a hard time forgetting...

The movie follows the twin sisters, both played by Usuda Asami, in their respective search for love.
