Quemoy Island sits 2km off China’s southeastern coast; it is Taiwan’s territory, a frontline outpost in the Cold War battle against Communism. There is a photographer, who witnessed the cruelty of war, and also shot many portraits of soldiers’ young faces. However, with Quemoy become the most pro-Chinese place after the end of the Cold War, the photographer turns to shoot the former enemies - the Chinese.
