As a child, Hinako left her hometown and went to live in Tokyo. When she returns years later, she learns that one of her childhood friends, Sayori, had died. Hinako then starts seeing Sayori's spirit at night. Together with Hinako's other childhood friend, Fumiya, they start to look into Sayori's death.
