This film is about the life of a young and innocent girl growing into woman. Yoo Mi, a beautiful high school student has a love affair with a church choir conductor, Myeong Gil. He joins the Korean Army and is sent to Vietnam and ends up missing in action. After secretly giving birth to the daughter of Myeong Gil, Yoo Mi becomes a fashion model and eventually a famous movie star with the aid of Macao Kim, a well known promoter. She knows that her life is completely manipulated by Macao Kim and that she must hide her real relationship to her daughter. One day a reporter comes to expose her past with a photo of her daughter, Suh Young.
