This drama is about an athlete who gets injured and becomes a blind girl's guide during the Paralympic short distance running event. The story is based on a novel by Kurihara Miwako. Imai Jun is expected to take part in the Olympic short distance running event and is raised by his single mother, Michiyo. However, during the heat, Imai falls and injures himself just before the goal. As a result, he has to give up his Olympic dream. At the same time, he meets a blind girl, Hitomi, and trains with her so as to be her guide in the Paralympics (Olympics for the disabled). Just as he re-discovers the joy of running again, Imai finds himself down with an incurable illness.
