The "Sunny Sisters" are a group of seven friends from high school who reunite after 24 years upon learning that their leader has been diagnosed with cancer. The girls from yonder days are facing troubles of their own, yet along the way, they reexamine their lives to regain their confidence and youth through each other's companionship. Full-time housewife Zhang Li Jun ran into her high school friend Lin Qing at the hospital. After learning that Lin Qing is terminally ill, Zhang Li Jun decides to help fulfill her last wish to reunite the group called "Sunny Sisters" that the two were a part of during high school. When everyone meets again, the ladies who were once carefree are facing the harsh realities of life from dealing with a cheating husband, career troubles to rebellious kids.
