Han Seung Kuk on the lookout whose father is a cow thief can't still forget his father's eyes when his father was caught and dying because of his mistake. Due to his miserable childhood, he feels keenly the necessity of power and becomes a soldier. However, he feels the want of something although he in on the way he wanted. The only subject for him is that he has no place to go back. He loves Moon Hye Ryeon who is the only shelter of him and the first one he feels comfort from. He gives up what he has accumulated for himself and chooses the way of love for the woman who never opens her heart in spite of his will that willingly tries to exchange everything he has.
