Through a seventeen year old girl who escapes her strict father, the film focuses on the frustrations, wanderings, and loves of the teenage generation. Sang Mee, a sensitive high school student, wants to become a poetess. While returning home one day after skating with her friend, she becomes involved in a fight against a man. Her father is very angered by this and punishes her by cutting off her beautiful hair. Feeling greatly shamed by this, she escapes fro her father and leaves his house. She starts spending her time with a group of bums. Just as she is about to get in real trouble with these characters she is rescued by Min Goo. Her father and her tutor desperately try to catch her to bring her home.
