Years ago, dragons and humans were best of friends and they lived together. The human King then betrayed the Dragon King in a bid to own the world. He ordered the murder of all dragons but the princess of the dragon tribe, Shui Ling Long, managed to escape this fate as she had been trapped inside a cocoon by the Dragon King as a punishment prior to the massacre without anybody knowing. Years past and Yuan Bao, a child performer unconsciously released the trapped Shui Ling Long. Yuan Bao did not betrayed Shui Ling Long even though there will be a sum of reward for anyone who caught a dragon as Shui Ling Long saved Yuan Bao. Shui Ling Long did not know what happened between the humans and the dragons as she was trapped for ten years. She thought that the other dragons abandoned her because she played with the Dragon Pearl. Shui Ling Long then begins her quest to look for her dragon father and friends and fall in love with the prince of the humans tribe, Li Bin, along the way. Will the dragons be able to live in peace with humans once again?
