A modern tale of blackmail and double-crossing in Thailand, Manop Umodej's film concerns the sneaky dealings of two mechanics, Salak and Tuang, who are fed up with living on their meager salaries. When they make a play for quick money, they incidentally murder one of the town's most prominent men. Tuang escapes while Salak is captured, only to escape en route to his trial. Working at a gas station in a small town, Salak is able to keep his past under wraps until the wife of his new employer uses this information to coerce him into robbing her own husband. Salak is caught committing his crime, but destiny intervenes when Tuang appears at the gas station.
