Yeong Mi, a high school student, applies for a prestigious school as her parents' wish but fails to get in. As she wanders about in despair, she comes across the Lotus Sutra that belongs to her father and starts on a spiritual journey to the past in 1965. She witnesses her father Tae Min getting hit by the car her mother Eun Hye was driving. Since then their romantic relationship goes through a crisis because Jin Woo fights to win Eun Hye's love. Yeong Mi helps them to get together and comes back to the present of 1986. She is welcomed by a new life and enters a college of her choice.
