After the death of her husband, Yeong Boon tells her stepson, Yong Jin, of her plans for a short trip. However, she has other plans in her mind, mainly to go back to her hometown, Taebaek, to get a job. She hopes to start a new life there. Fortunately, she succeeds in getting a job as a cleaning lady in a small motel. On that night, she sets out to a beauty shop run by an old friend.
