Early in the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), King Tae Jo goes to his hometown Hamheung in retirement, disappointed with the fact that King Tae Jo's son holds power after murdering his brother Bang Seok. Then Tae Jo sends messengers to Hamheung to turn his mind to Tae Jo, only to find that emissaries never come back again. At the last thought, he sends him Muhak the Great Monk. Finally, Taejo changes his mind and returns to the palace.
