When So Yang's family learns that she has taken time off from school, there is a great upheaval. But Mi Yang, the oldest daughter decides to investigate into her younger sister's life and find out what happened. She finds out that So Yang saw her first student demonstration before she could even begin to enjoy life on campus. And through her high school classmate Myung Joo, So Yang joined an activist group. But in their first street demonstration, she realized her own weaknesses and this was the beginning of her troubles. So Yang broke up with the arrest of her senior activist and ended her tedious relationship with Hee Joong. She also became repulsed by Myung Joo's inadequate logic. While the family is occupied by Mi Yang's wedding preparations, So Yang, who had been watching the demonstrations and failing to take care of her health is later found dead on the campus of the beloved school she had to leave.
