A college girl Jang Mi parts with her lover Kyu Shik and suffers from lack of love due to her unfortunate childhood with a stubborn father. She feels affection toward a mid-aged man in a train on her way to Busan but does not pursue him for he is married. She wanders about to end up as a call girl and overdoses on sleeping pills, driven by Kyu Shik's criticism. She is put into a mental hospital and falls in love with Se Ho. She looks forward to being married to him but her dream is shattered by her past.
