In 1993, 9th grader Tae Gyu, has a crush on his classmate Ae Ran. He always gets awkward in front of her for some reason. One day, the two watch a TV commercial for cosmetics at a snack bar. Ae Ran becomes fascinated by the French song used in the commercial. She wants to get its record, but doesn't know the name of the singer or the title of the song.
