Losing her two husbands, Ok Nyeo goes to her aunt's house with her son Yun Su. On the bus, Ok Nyeo meets Jo, the manager of a coal yard and a man with a bad reputation. Ok Nyeo works at the coal yard to support herself. One day, Jo forces himself on her. From that day on, Ok Nyeo does her best to please him but Jo just avoids her. Chun Ja had been close to Jo. When she asks about his relationship with Ok Nyeo, Jo kills Chun Ja. As Ok Nyeo knows of this, Jo tries to get close to her and kill her as well but Ok Nyeo leaves the coal yard. That day, a surprising event happens. Jo's body is found on the railroad.
