The title "The Tigers" refers to the five most popular young male actors of 1980s TVB Hong Kong television. The group consists of Andy Lau, Tony Leung, Felix Wong, Michael Miu, and Kent Tong.
In The Tigers, the four young cops and their boss are five tragic characters who, despite leading a righteous life all along, fail to resist one temptation, but this one mistake costs far more than what they can afford. Sergeant Tin (Bryan Leung) leads his four subordinates to successfully combat numerous criminals. However, Tin lets go of his relative (Kent Tong) who is working under a drug lord. His four subordinates let greed take over their souls momentarily, and split the illicit money among themselves, without knowing that they are digging their own graves. (YesAsia)
