Chen, a middle-aged journalist who remarried after divorce, visits his ex-wife’s home to see his daughter Icy, who is back from the UK. Icy, however, loses her luggage along with her diploma on the bus, and her boyfriend Yong is beaten up by the bus driver. Going back and forth between the police station and the hospital, Chen demands justice, but reality is harsh. His ex-wife, who has a new lover, subtly slights him, and neither he nor Yong can close the distance between them. Resolving to find the lost luggage for Icy, who will be settling down in a big city, Chen approaches the black market.
